Assonate Stealing words everyday
Websters growing thinner
Thought I'd compensate
and make some new ones
Nothing there like simpatico
to meet together in place
and time
Sharing in a joy of momentary
touch
So electric we assonate |

Ha! yes I had to look it up and I'd say that Part of the magic of your poetry is your ability to have your words assonate in the most propitious places.
Short but really did the job, causing the reader to think. Nothing to comment on in the writing.
Haven't been here in a few years, but good to be back.
Kevin.

Ah, so well done as always James. You have such a way
with words, their bending, blending and twisting and then
you go and start smithing...excellent. You've definitely
added some life and color to the fore. Most enjoyable...Lora

This poem makes me smile. I feel that way when I come to the poetic link many times.

I love it. Esp the dictionary getting thin part. Well done. The images a crisp as crisp can be.
