For Annie Where do the moments go when I remember you softly as if trying to catch and frame snowflakes, before its too late Where does my fate go when all I know are the past days the glory phase of my life with you How is it that I can only see your eyes most beautiful when in surprise or when delighted in laughter What will be the measure of a life held in the leisure of simply recalling all of the befalling your ever did with me Why is it I can't go on without you as if some part of me once held you too perfectly |

Joe,
"Catching and framing" snowflakes is very good.
You handled and expressed the emotion well here, delicately, conveying the depth of feeling, but not sentimental.
