MSS has developed a style, both distinctive and expansive. He'll be harder and harder to contend with now.
Poets, take this as challenge. Dellena has graced us with one of her best and there have been many months
where it would have been an easy winner. Duane has not been as inspired this month as we have grown accustomed to seeing him but still the short poem style with terse lines is beginning more and more to mark his own style. We can expect great things from him. Lora gifts us with her usual remarkable imgagery and her
subtle ability with Native American lore always intrigues us. We have a new face among us, Mick, whose rich
prose can easily be turned into a poem I should very much like to read. Gerard has given us a very lovely
and touching tribute to his daughter's wedding from the perspective of a father. A lovely month.
