Beach Dreamin' Multi-striped beach towel spread out on sand and crushed seashells. Watching you lounge, sunglass covered eyes, coconut scented body, I recall the many excursions we'd taken to these balmy shores. I remember frolicking in the water, coated with sea spray, you pushed me playfully into the swelling wave, I vowed there would be paybacks, we laughed, and I knew I loved your sense of humor. Recalling the day we drove along the narrow coastal road, we stopped along a scenic overlook. You directed my focus to the dolphins, vaulting into the air. Smiling with pleasure at my frenetic response, I wanted you forever. The time we dined on the lantern lit patio at Rio's that overlooked Bethel Beach and we watched the setting sun cast it's orange glow. I tasted your salted Margarita lips and thirsted for more. Returning to the cozy cottage we called home, palm trees and oleander lined sidewalk, your fingers teased my thigh. I hungered for your touch. Snuggling in our queen size bed, smooth silky sheets beneath us, happily spent by the perfect day we shared. Hungrily you reached for me, I shivered with anticipation. The night had just begun. |
