Quest Stranded, taking again Nearly as many years, I retraced my life – Connecting every silver hair That had fallen from my head – Creating yet a new maze Through the forest of my youth. Seizing Spring, Renewed and reeling – The Machiavellian quest abscinds – The birds of then Have strewn the way And coil gray threads Through nests of lust. |
