One by One I watch them bleed one by one the ruby drops splash hallow'd ground. My razor tongue lashes swift 'gainst their skin so thin and frail. Their open lips wetly drip, timorous, their flesh trembles. My mad glib tongue into them bores uncaring and uncorrected. They cry their song, dulcet tones striving to do no damage. And still I lash sharpened wit my intent states my meaning. Their wounds bemoan anger groans my ears are still unheeding. Literatzi, screaming proud for my blood their mouths do howl. Yet flashing flesh holds at bay those who'd take my voice from me. |
