The Dream I Had Of You

I remember having a dream,      a dream the other night- In which I dreamt of holding you,      just holding you so tight! I dreamt of your soft and smooth white skin      so tender and divine; And of your dazzling beautifully deep eyes      gently staring into mine. I dreamt of slowly caressing your back      your skin so smooth, so warm, so fair- Of tenderly kissing your velvet soft neck      smelling the fragrance of your glowing hair. And where you'd placed your cheek and hand      so softly upon my chest... I felt your warm caressing breath      as you quietly laid at rest. -It was in this moment that my heart found love      as I shared myself with you, For although this night was but a dream      I often wish this dream were true?
