Her Kiss Liquid joy flow ‘bout me in a stream Ignoring reason, Deriding danger, And wetly being, Before it wisped into the jealous air. The afterglow of it left in me Sweet numbness, That stilled me And thrilled me; Betrancing my soul with its wonder. And all the laws of nature seemed senseless But her lips, So divine Godheads blushed To marvel in the beauty of it’s sugared sight. Was it her lips that said, “Let there be light?” |
