HRRT Spells Heart Important thoughts race through your head. Bury not these secret treasures. Write them down for me instead, Pearls of wisdom, wisps of pleasure. Wordsmith, woo me with your wares. Waft words of woe that make me weep. Then croon away my childish cares With lullabies that make me sleep. Wordsmith, weave me wondrous tales. Send seas of stories without cease Of storm-tossed ships in whipping gales And epic sagas of war and peace. Hypnotize my soul and senses. Realize my dreams and fears. Rationalize my mind's defenses. Tantalize my waiting ears. Wordsmith, vow ne're to depart. Sing sonnets sweet of life and death. Caress this hapless, humble heart Within your constant rhythmic breath. |
