Solitary Soldier David isn’t around here now; I wonder where he’s gone. There are a lot of people bowling here; looks like they’re having fun. David was nice to teach me to bowl, but I don’t think it was here, I wonder where he's gone now; maybe for a beer. I liked the donuts we had today; the one with the sprinkles was good. All of the bowlers seem happy here, I hope that he brings back food. My mommy would be happy with me; sitting here like a good boy. When I get home she’ll be so proud, she may even buy me a toy. Mommy and David are noisy sometimes, they even scare my dog Fred. I wish they wouldn’t yell all the time, I hate when they send me to bed. Sometimes David says I’m a baby; big boys don’t cry for their mommy, I’ll show him what a big boy I am; I'll even make him proud of me. No, I’m not allowed to talk to you, I don’t know you, can’t talk to strangers. I don’t like it when you call me Soldier; do you like my Power Rangers? I don’t know my address or phone number, but I know my name is Tommy. Police cars are fun. Can I start the siren? Can you find my mommy? |
Additional Notes:
To be read as a 4 year old boy...in a difficult spot obviously.
