The Power of You Your curls were brown laced with red That showed in the summer sun Your breath was soft and warm When you whispered You're the one Your skin was soft and freckled and it smelled of summer heat Your lips were nectar touching mine They tasted oh so sweet Your eyes they drove me crazy Ever changing in the night From brown to green and back again And your look would turn to light Then the light would set me free I would slip into your soul Then your power overcame me and I would lose control. |
Additional Notes:
For someone I met and somehow I let her slip away
