I would like to express how difficult this vote was to take. If I had voted on potentials
I saw in poems, rather than finished product (he looks intently at MAH) it would have
gone differently. One can really never rule out the influence of their own taste...it is
the most subtle form of bias. But I tried. Considering that some of our poets are on
a dry spell it's encouraging that others, like Cheyenne and DeniMarie are at work to try
and make up for that. In doing so, both are improving dramatically....a side glance at
MAH. Lora, you have produced some incredible lines. Please be encouraged and stick
with us. You and Mary Coffman have the talent. Mr. Patton certainly has acquitted himself
well (showing us last month's win was no flash-in-the-bucket,) with, One In a Long Line or
Ready For Battle. Don't take his rustic style lightly. Our MSS did pretty well, considering
he's another in a sabbatical dry spell. For everyone else, let's look forward to next month,
it's still anyone's contest. TEW, hang in there, especially you since I know what you can do.
