A Moment In Time Where the oak tree grows
past the countless rows
of sycamore and elm
A refreshing place
to wash one's face
droplets roll off the cheek
You can bask in the sun
remember the fun
warmth burning its presence
Once you believe
Then its time to leave
this heaven
that resides
in one's thoughts...

Thomas,
One needs more such moments, into our thoughts and caressed and soothed by nature.
Peace resides in our thoughts feeling like its heaven, yes!
When I am troubled I go within, like the plants close down for winter. How
similar is that?
I like your easy understanding poetry, that share so much of you.
Lovely I say!

Your first 3 stanzas were breath taking and penned extremely beautiful Your last stanza kind of threw me off. It seemed as though you needed to end the poem but didn't know how. A quick ending. Maybe it is just me but the last stanza seemed as though it didn;t go with the awesome write of the 1st three stranzas. But I did truly enjoy reading this. You are quite a writter.
