passive aggressive ..the culture of America We, the Christian people of America hold these truths; that no culture, nor other gods will overturn our forefathers foundations on the basis of religion or peace. We, the passive people of America write; our constitution will be amended we will no longer be contented by patience we welcome you to live amongst us if quietly. We, the aggressors in America state; we will no longer step aside we will fly our flag without debate take back our jobs from foreigners by our wealth. We, the unnamed majority hold this truth; we are the seventy percent who will not be affiliated with the voices of judges in the courtyards of our capitals publicly. We, the free people of America stand firm; we are a powerful force of our own we worship our gods with goodwill in our hearts that all may find happiness equally and I will be the only judge of me. America. It's a nice place to be. |
Additional Notes:
Go ahead. I know you want to hit me (!) (smile). I am using information from the John McCarther Program on PublicBroadcastRadio. It is said that 70% of Americans who vote, consider themselves to 'live with a Christian attitude' and that religion influences their vote. Eighty two percent want prayer returned to the schools. This same percentage of people want the Pledge of Allegiance back in our schools. Another poll showed 72% of the general population are happy with marriage as defined within opposite sexes.
Take it or leave it; I've based this work on what other people have studied, and what I have learned from them. If I'm not politically correct then let my poetic skill give you a reason to read my work!

I've read your work, and can basicaly agree with what you mention.
I do not accept the "Christian" value statements as being a cure all for everyone.
As a Jew, I do have my own values. Do not forget that it was the Jewish people who gave the first values
to the world in the Ten Commandments1
Suggest to tighten up this ode by eliminating a lot of the superfluous "we's".
Otherwise I think you have to make more of this poem your own.
